Making business with Elxis CMS

Elxis CMS is released under the GNU/GPL license and is provided for free. Elxis Team, Elxis Community members and all the people contributed to the Elxis project work for free and without being paid. Although GNU/GPL license allows someone to sell Elxis CMS by charging the distribution, we consider such actions as unethical. We work hard to create Elxis CMS and it is a shame someone outside the project to sell it, distribute it for money, make commercial forks (illegal), or present Elxis CMS as his own software.

Companies and individuals making business with Elxis CMS should clearly declare on their web sites and customers that Elxis CMS is free. They should also declare that Elxis is being created by Elxis Team, provided by elxis.org, released under GNU/GPL license, and costs nothing. All companies and individuals making business with Elxis should have a text link to elxis.org and a link to Elxis Downloads Center for their customers to download Elxis CMS for free. Elxis Team will treat those that do not follow these guidelines as unethical users and will punish them with certain actions and complete block/ban from the Elxis Network.
