November 2009 extensions

Elxis extensions base grows fast. On November 2009 some great new extensions were submitted at Elxis Downloads Center and became available to all Elxis users. The most important of these extensions was the updated version of the online hotel booking system IOS Reservations.

New extensions

Ks-LService
A 2-columns template for Elxis CMS front-end designed by Kostas Stathopoulos. The template comes with lytebox3 image-popup effect and a flash image rotator preinstalled. It is SEO optimized, compatible with all modern browsers and XHTML and CSS valid. Download Ks-LService from EDC.

IOS Reservations
IOS Reservations is a powerful, but easy to use, online hotel booking system for Elxis CMS created by Is Open Source. The new version (3.x) introduces a number of some very cool features, like notifications via SMS and FAX for new reservations, integrated payment gateways, secure connections (SSL) for pages that privacy is important, hoteliers control panel, and many more. Add PHP bot
This tiny but powerful bot by Kostas Stathopoulos allows you to include a php file inside elxis content items. Download Add PHP Bot for EDC.

eHide
Bot eHide gives you the option to show specific parts of content items only to site guests or only to logged-in users. Download eHide. The bot was created by Nick Sirigos.

Digsby
This module will display a digsby widget on your Elxis site. Digsby is a multi-protocol Instant Messaging client, an email notification tool and a social networking tool. You can use digsby to provide Live Support to your site visitors or chat with your friends. Download Digsby.

Easy Gallery
Easy Gallery is, by far, the easiest method to create and display an image gallery inside elxis content items. The bot is able to fetch images from various sources (a folder containing images, IOS Reservations locations or hotels, IOS Eshop products, and IOS Gallery categories). Easy Gallery will display your selected images in a lightbox window. Download Easy Gallery or check the documentation for more info.

White Dream
A nice 2-columns layout template for Elxis front-end designed by Yiannis Kottaras. The template also includes a JS rotator script for the site logo. Download White Dream.
