Open Shop, the features-rich shopping cart for Elxis CMS, updated to version 3.9. This new version has, among others, improvements in shipping and payment methods as well as in orders management. You can add or remove products from an order, change shipping method or set custom charges and discounts. Shipping and payment methods can be auto enabled or disabled based on user defined rules (product volume and order amount). Also improvements made on BOX NOW and payment method Stripe was added.

How to enable 2 factor authentication in Elxis CMS
Elxis 5.5 Hermes has 2 factor authentication system built-in. Two-factor authentication (2FA), is a security process in which users provide two different authentication factors to verify themselves. The first one is your standard username (or email) and password. The second one is an one time password (OTP) which you must provide in order to login. OTP is a 6-digits random number which is refreshed every time you try to login. Elxis calls this Verification code. The verification code can be send to you either via e-mail, or SMS. A mini forum component for Elxis available for free download
At last, after a long time Elxis has a forum extension again. The new component is named Bubbles. You can install it in your Elxis powered site and have an integrated forum solution. Although Bubbles is brand new, it released as version 2.0, and not 1.0 as you may expect. This is because Bubbles 1.x was an old Elxis 2009.x series component. Bubbles 2.x is a brand new, modern application written from scratch especially for the Elxis 5.x platform. You can use it as a forum, as a FAQ tool, to provide support, as a communication gateway between your site members and visitors and for any other purpose you may find it useful.

Add custom CSS rules and javascript without modifying any file.
Since version 5.2 Elxis allows you to modify most extensions' CSS and javascript files directly from within the administration panel with the help of a powerful code editor from CodeMirror. However modifying extensions' files is something we don't recommend as after an update you will lose your changes. So, what we did is to introduce the user config files. You can add your custom CSS rules, or your javascript code, in these files and anything you put there will be preserved after an update.

Waiting is over. Elxis 5.0 is here and available for download. The new version is a total modernization of Elxis CMS. We designed a user interface which makes working with Elxis easier and faster. Moreover the administration interface became fully compatible to mobile devices and tablets. Elxis 5.0 uses HTML5, CSS3 and pure javascript without external libraries such as jQuery. Almost all pages, including forms and exit pages were redesigned. The result is a beautiful, lightweight CMS which we believe is impossible not to fall in love with.

Elxis Importer, a new free component, makes possible the import of data from various sources into Elxis CMS. Elxis Importer comes with WordPress to Elxis extension built in.
